Thinking days, writing days, all days

cccccccI wrote and edited so much during November that, as a consequence, I burned out a little and thus have written/edited way less during December. Naturally, I’m starting to freak out about it. But I also feel glad for unwittingly taking some time off.

Why? Because thinking days are writing days: even when I don’t yet see the scenes in my mind, I know things are cooking up in there (I can literally feel it. Like water starting to boil. Yes, that would be a mix of three teaspoons of a headache and 500 ml of excitement).

I’ll have plenty of time to edit and read during the upcoming four weeks, and I’ll take full advantage of it: to finish polishing my completed manuscript, read as much as possible, and most importantly, RELAX.

2019 publication goals:

1) Finish editing my completed MS.

2) Query said MS.

3) Land an agent!

4) Wish upon a star: land a book deal!

2019 writing goals:

1) Complete my #NaNo WIP.

2) Write a contemporary fiction first draft.

3) Write a magical realism first draft.

4) Edit my NaNoWriMo 2018 WIP.

5) Participate in NaNoWriMo 2019.

Doable? Doable.
